5280 Burger Bar Experience

Just a stones throw from Sixteenth Street in Downtown Denver, CO is some of the best burgers you’ll have the privilege of eating. Every dish is prepared with such care that you’ll forget you’re in a place known for it’s burgers. Every bite will leave your taste buds yearning for more.

My family is rather large and occasionally loud, so instead of sitting in the opened area, we opted for their private room, which was very classy and had more than enough room to accommodate us. The room had plenty of seating and boasted two large flat-screen televisions for the sports lovers.

nachosWe tried every appetizer and they were all delectable. My personal favorites were the Green Chili Queso & fries and the Ahi Tuna Nachos. You knew the food was delicious by the silence in the room while eating them. That’s because during a yummy meal is about the only time you’ll find my family quiet.

The handcrafted burgers were not to be outdone by the appetizers. They offered a wide range of burgers. I opted for The Fat Boy and my wife had The Ring of Fire. Let me tell you, “They call it The Ring of fire for a good reason!” You commonly hear the terms hot or spicy from restaurants only to receive subpar spice at best. This is not that burger. This one truly packs a wallop. You’ll want to keep some of their delicious apple beer handy to cool down.

I was almost too full to try their ice cream. Almost! I never miss an opportunity to feast on in-house churned ice cream. One scoop of the Belgian Chocolate and a scoop of Sea Salted Carmel put the exclamation point on my dinning experience. Words can’t express how good it was, so I suggest you visit real soon and try it for yourself.
